Our models TROPEA NEO^TM, OLYMPIC^TM and VIVA^TM were presented at the Piscina Barcelona trade fair (Oct. 18-21) on a 140 m² stand, and the following week (Oct. 26-29) at the AQUANALE in Cologne, Germany on a 130 m² stand, which was also home to an ORLANDO^® unit.

Our most significant technical innovations for 2011 (EASY-UP and rounded-off profiles) were also presented at both trade shows. From a marketing point of view, traditional product catalogues & flyers, as well as new support materials (Piscina Newsletter and Aquanale Newsletter) were available for visitors in print versions. On May 27-28, 2011, Alutherm Poland took part in the SPA & WELLNESS, 5th Equipment, Services and Facilities Fair in Krakow (Poland).  The so-called “Targi w Krakowie” is the third largest  exhibition center in Poland. The events staged there are attended by 80,000 visitors each year. 

Alutherm presented and featured “The mobile Corso NEO™ enclosure model“.

Despite the fact that the fair lasted just 2 days, we feel Alutherm´s showing there to be very successful. The exhibiition was visited by both many business partners of Alutherm and potential clients.  The EASY-UP system and safety glass with Connex 33.1 film, a novelty hallmark, was a premiere presentation on the Polish market. 

EASY-UP is the first fully integrated, upper-positioned locking system located at a height of about 60 to 90 centimeters above the ground. EASY-UP thus allows for more convenient handling of the segments (user-friendly), without having to bend over down towards the foot of the enclosure.

IPC Team/Alutherm

Recently (10 – 13.05.2011) training sessions were organized for Mr. Purushotham, manager of Megavent Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (India), at the Alukov HZ spol. s r.o. main production facility. Said training sessions focused on such specific questions as production technology, enclosure selection for swimming pools (to include 3Seasons^TM products), sales & customer service.

Megavent Technologies is located in the Indian city of Bangalore, in the southern part of central India.

Mr. Purushotham was very pleased with his stay, in general, and training sessions provided, in particular. He is confident regarding business success of ALUKOV‘s products on the Indian market. Accordingly, a solid partnership basis resulted and a mutual working agreement signed.

The last day of his business trip was spent visiting the „Hobby" exhibition in Budweis (CZ). You can see a few pictures taken during his stay at ALUKOV and in Budweis.

From 24-26 of February 2011 Aquanova with IPC Team has participated in Italian national pool show, which was in Bologna.

The statistic shows that the Expo at ForumPiscine continues to grow. An exposition area that not only announces a larger surface area in respect to last year, but that especially incorporates new market sectors and sees an increase of those already represented in 2010.

Some examples? Among the new market sectors, this year there is the appearance of among the most represented market sectors as inflatables for pools, generators of artificial waves, complements dedicated to external furnishings rather, are pool covers (in particular telescopic covers), pool linings ( with always more innovative coloration and material), products and solutions geared toward the realization of agreen pool (from alternative chlorine products to systems for automatic water/air treatment), and those for maintenance (above all cleaners) and water filtration (with new filter materials, dosage systems and the latest generation of automatic control units, valves and systems of installation for every need), in addition to materials, technologies and solutions for pool construction, including pools realized completely in inox stainless steel and pre-fabricated panels that incorporate new materials.

It is also important to emphasize the growth, in comparison to the 2010 edition, of the wellness sector thanks to the increased presence of specialized companies in the production of hydro-massage mini-pools and the design and realization of wellness centers.

Always more relevant, finally, the adhesion of companies from abroad, that will bring to Bologna’s Fair the latest novelties from Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal….giving an always more international air to the event.

The Aquanova was present with new diamond line: Laguna NEO with novelty NEO EASY-UP aretation and totaly transparent polycarbonate.

In February Alukov HZ gave a major presentation in Austria. The company took part in the trade fairs Bauen und Wohnen in Salzburg (10.2 – 13.2. 2011) and Bauen und Energie in Vienna (17.2. – 20.2. 201).

At both shows ALUKOV HZ presented a new display concept which tied in with the current growing interest shown by clients in mobile patio roofing structures and garden summer-houses.

The display featured some of the bestselling products from our sales portfolio – ELEGANT NEO^TM , CORSO NEO^TM, VIVA^TM and OASIS^TM. On some models visitors also had the chance to see the new Easy Up and 33.1 safety glass. New accessory products were on display inside – the NEPTUN and ZEUS infrared heaters.

As usual, the ALUKOV HZ display stand attracted large numbers of potential clients and several trade contracts for supplies of roofing and accessories were signed.

PROGRES profiles are … progressing!

We would like to inform you that we are further streamlining the appearance of our enclosures! Specifically, we are expanding the introduction of rounded-off profiles.

PROGRES is now available* in a „smoothed edge" version, visible from the outside. It is offered as a standard feature (and thus included in the basic list price). *This innovation applies at present, however, only to profiles with a silver-gray RAL 9006 or anthracite DB703 finish (effective immediately).

Additionally, we will use the „labyrinth" (overlapping) sealing system between enclosure sections (specially designed for the "kit" PROGRES). This technical plus will be offered as part of the basic price, as well.

Other finishes: wood imitation, white RAL 9010 and beige RAL 1015. These will be offered in the rounded-off version once inventory considerations permit.

This truly unique solution — which meets AFNOR security standards — provides users of our newly produced models exceptional comfort in terms of locking and un-locking of enclosure segments. Unlike existing fastening systems currently available throughout the industry, EASY-UP is the first fully integrated upper-positioned control system located at a height of about 60 to 90 centimeters above the ground, depending on the height of the enclosure model itself. EASY-UP thus allows for more convenient handling of the segments by the user, without having to bend down towards the bottom of the enclosure (as has been the case industry-wide up until now).

This solution is in keeping with the latest trends in modern curve and colorful designing — and is a natural extension of the streamlined, rounded design of ALUKOV’s NEOTM line. Needless to say, this innovation further enhances the safety features of this product range.

This exclusive innovation will already be available throughout Europe via IPC Team distribution retail points starting February 1, 2011; it will be officially launched in the Czech Republic as of Mar. 1.

EASY-UP will be included as a standard feature in the basic price/product description for all models manufactured by ALUKOV HZ within the NEO ^TM range (except for the IMPERIA NEO^TM – LIGHT model).

EASY-UP introduces and ushers in new mobility and operating comfort, including for such terrace/patio enclosures as the Corso NEO^TM and Veranda NEO^TM models.

The dominant graphic element remains the red arch, which symbolizes our product and company philosophy : a sheltering roof, as well as the company’s membership in the global IPC Team network. The same adjustments were also made to the IPC Team logo itself.

The colors comprising the logos represent the following:
Red – It is an extremely stimulating and active color which yields energy and awakens one’s lifeblood. It stands for deep emotions and is thus the color of passion, love, courage, but also of will.
Blue – It is a calming yet inspiring element. Along with placidness, prudence, trust and empathy are evoked.
Blue-grey – A perfect color to symbolize harmonious neutrality, confidentiality and the willingness to compromise.

This overall change, which corresponds to a global trend of uniting graphics and fonts to create new and strong corporate logos, is further designed to be more applicable to diversive PR campaigns, promotional materials and in the use of such modern technologies as laser, embroidery, plotter-cutting, etc. Lastly, these logos come visually across well in all these support types with good legibility throughout — even in small sizes.
